Lancome is excited about the launch of it's latest mascara, the Hypnose Doll Eyes Mascara. It's a beautifully packaged mascara that aims to create a wide-eyed dolly look. You can view my review and in-action photos HERE.
To celebrate the launch of this new mascara, Lancome has created a Hypnose Doll Eyes App - it allows you to upload a photo of yourself and modify it to create a Doll avatar - you can choose your skin colour, hair colour, hair style and dress.
It's really easy - here are some screenshots of the process when I was creating my Doll.
Just a tip, use a photo where you are looking more or less directly at the camera - the first one I did, my face was a little angled away and it didn't turn out right.
In this step, you have to use your mouse and align the markers to your eyes, nose and mouth.
Then you FIX on the upper and lower lashes - you can adjust the tilt and length of lashes to suit your eyeshape
After choosing the makeup - which is essentially either the aqua-green theme (Baby Pop eyeshadow palette) or the pink-brown theme (Baby Nu eyeshadow palette), you move on to choose your pose. There are a variety of cute poses like Hello, Let's Party, Oops and so on.
Once your doll is complete, you can save it to your Facebook album and use it as your display picture. If you're not satisfied with the doll avatar, you can also make changes!

It's really simple and the results are quite cute - nicer than those Cartoonify apps on the iPhone I've come across.
