Hi!
A quick post just to share what the highlights of Beauty Asia 2012 are - Wed, 22 Feb is the last day. If you are associated with the beauty industry, you can register via this link HERE
I went around exploring and here are the few booths that are really worth taking a look at, especially if you're a nail polish enthusiast
Ugateway is where you'll find Deborah Lippmann, Zoyas and Orly as well as a smattering of manicure accessories

Deborah Lippmann polishes are at SGD$19 while Zoyas are at SGD$7 (both before GST). I was thrilled with both the DL and Zoya range and price!
I can't remember the Orly prices but they had the latest Orly collection for Spring 2012, Cool Romance, as well as older collections.

PCI is where you'll find a HUGE range of MISA polishes as well as a good selection of slightly older China Glaze Collections.
I don't recall previous years' Beauty Asia vendors having this huge and varied a collection of MISAs - there were some amazing duochromes and glass-fleck Misa polishes as well as crackles. China Glazes and Misas were at SGD$5. PCI also had other products such as Nail Tek and and assortment of cuticle removers, masks (industrial / salon sized) and nail art products

United Nails stocks more recent China Glaze collections such as the Magnetix, Prismatic Chroma Glitters and Electropop collections. When I was there, United Nails was thronged by gel polish enthusiasts given they had a huge collection of Gelish. However, prices seemed a little inconsistent - sometimes China Glaze was quoted at SGD$8 and sometimes at SGD$5 which a couple of us experienced.

Australian makeup brand Girlee Cosmetics had an assortment of base and point makeup with eyeshadows at around SGD$9.50, pigments and eyeliners at SGD$11. They also had their version of the Z-Palette which they called the I-Palette retailing at SGD$25 (SGD$99 if filled I think). Their pigments are super finely milled and felt great while swatching.
*******************************************************************
Star*Like Nails stocked a huge variety of Cuccio Naturale spa-line products; I've tried them at some nail salons and quite liked the brand.
I bought the cuticle stick in Milk and Honey and it is AMAZING - smells great and its less messy to tote around since its a solid stick rather than cuticle oil.
Everything in this store was marked at 50%+10% (not sure why though, why not just mark everything at that selling price then?)
*********************************************************************
And here is a shot of the things I hauled ... I'll feature the polishes when I use them as manicures :)

Hope you get to go if you're interested! Beauty Asia will be back in 2013 so mark your calendars!

Thanks for stopping by and have a good week :)

but
nice haul! Can't wait to see your swatches

What a great event! I'm sad that I missed IMATS in London this year because I was away!
